Skin Contact is a small-batch handmade jewelry brand founded by Nadeem Yamak, based in Los Angeles.

Skin Contact is a handmade jewelry brand rooted in culture, connection, and the simple joy of making things with your hands.

Named after one of my favorite kinds of wine, Skin Contact was born out of a love for creating things that are meant to be worn, touched, and lived in. There's something intimate about making something with your own two hands that eventually finds a home on someone else's body.

Drawing inspiration from my Filipino and Lebanese roots, I’ve always been fascinated by the ways we express ourselves through the things we wear. Jewelry, to me, is more than an accessory. It's a reflection of where we come from, the people we meet, and the memories we collect along the way.

Each piece is handmade in small batches using freshwater pearls imported from the Philippines, glass beads, vintage finds, and other thoughtfully sourced materials. With a playful approach to color, texture, and form, Skin Contact embraces pieces that feel expressive, a little unexpected, and entirely personal.

At its heart, Skin Contact is about the connection between the hands that make something and the body that gives it life.
