About Skin Contact
Skin Contact is a small-batch handmade jewelry brand founded by Nadeem Yamak and based in Los Angeles. Each piece is made by hand in limited quantities, which means slight variations in color, shape, length, pearl shape, bead placement, and materials may occur. These variations are part of the handmade nature of the jewelry and make each piece unique.
Product Information
We do our best to describe and photograph each piece accurately. However, colors may vary slightly depending on screen settings, lighting, and device display.
Some Skin Contact pieces may include freshwater pearls, glass beads, stainless steel, and vintage finds. Because natural and vintage materials can vary, each piece may have small differences or imperfections. These are not considered defects.
Pricing and Availability
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Prices, product descriptions, and availability may change at any time without notice. Placing an item in your cart does not reserve the item. An order is not confirmed until checkout is complete and payment has been processed.
Orders
Once your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation by email. Please review your order and shipping address carefully before submitting your purchase.
Skin Contact is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided at checkout. If you notice an error in your shipping address, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@skincontact.co. We cannot guarantee that changes can be made after an order is placed.
Skin Contact reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order for any reason, including suspected fraud, incorrect pricing, inventory issues, or inability to fulfill the order. If your order is canceled, you will receive a refund for the canceled item or order.
Shipping
Skin Contact is a small-batch handmade brand. Please allow 3-5 business days for your order to be processed before shipping, unless otherwise stated in the product description.
Once your order ships, you will receive tracking information by email. Delivery times may vary depending on the shipping carrier, destination, weather, holidays, and other delays outside of our control.
Skin Contact is not responsible for carrier delays, lost packages marked as delivered, or orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If your tracking shows that your package was delivered but you did not receive it, please contact the shipping carrier directly.
If an order is returned to Skin Contact because of an incorrect address, refusal, or failure to claim the package, the customer may be responsible for any additional shipping costs to resend the order.
Returns and Exchanges
Because Skin Contact pieces are handmade in small batches, all sales are final.
Please read product descriptions carefully before purchasing. Slight variations in color, shape, size, pearl shape, bead placement, and vintage materials are normal and part of the handmade nature of each piece.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@skincontact.co with your order number and clear photos of the item and packaging.
We will review the issue and do our best to make it right. Depending on the situation and availability of materials, this may include a repair, replacement, or refund.
Jewelry Care
Skin Contact jewelry should be handled with care. To help preserve your pieces, avoid exposing them to water, perfume, lotions, sweat, harsh chemicals, pools, showers, and rough handling. Store your jewelry in a dry place when not in use.
Skin Contact is not responsible for damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper storage, water exposure, chemical exposure, or misuse.
Repairs
If your Skin Contact piece needs repair, please contact us at hello@skincontact.co with your order number and photos of the piece. Repairs are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may depend on the availability of materials. Repair and shipping fees may apply.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including product photos, copy, branding, logos, designs, names, images, and other materials, belongs to Skin Contact unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any content from this website without written permission.
Website Use
You agree not to misuse this website, interfere with its security, attempt unauthorized access, or use the site for unlawful purposes.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Skin Contact is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages related to your use of this website or purchase of products.
Skin Contact’s total liability for any claim related to a product purchase is limited to the amount paid for that product.
